During mold development and production process of copper rotor, a casting flow analysis is conducted as shown below. With such analysis, we can get important technical parameters of die casting before mold making and hence to upgrade the quality of copper rotor.

Electrical conductivity of copper at 25℃ is 57 MS/m. Electrical conductivity test is used for judging oxygen and iron contents in copper after melted and die-casting.

The inductor provides a magnetic field. When the rotor is rotating, an induction current generates when rotor slot conductors pass through the magnetic lines and the magnetic field is transferred to the sensor. The wave form generated by the inductor is sine wave displayed on the instrument. One sine wave represents one rotor slot conductor. The check of total quantity of sine waves and wave amplitudes allow for judging if there is slot breakage or shrinkage in the rotor slots.
